I have heard that the voter ID will not be on the 2010 ballot. Is this correct information and will a new petition be needed for the 2011 ballot?

Well actually you are partially correct the initiative is still going to use the signatures but it will also give the legislature one more chance to pass it before it goes to a public vote. And just announced was the voterid ballot would not be until 2011
